Melbourne Motion is a regular meetup of motion designers, 3D, illustrative and vfx enthusiasts and professionals in Melbourne that I began in 2014.
Run from intimate and casual Loop bar it combines networking with guest speakers who break down projects, provide advice as well as share techniques. Its also a great way from freelancers and fulltimers to catch up over a beer.
So far Raoul Marks, Benjamin Ducroz, Dirty Puppet, Oh Yeah Wow, Airbag, Kate Moon, Late Night Films, Octavio.tv, Jumbla, Mike Gibson, Yes Captain, Keke Robertson, Jeremy Mansford have all presented. I've also run two pausefest motion response nights with contributers around the world.
